The Bear is getting a third season on Hulu, and it thoroughly deserves it
Hulu has announced that it is a hit show The bear will return for a third season. In a press release, Disney, which recently purchased Comcast’s remaining shares in Hulu to take full ownership of the streamer, confirmed that the culinary comedy-drama series has been renewed for another episode.
The bear The announcement of season 3 comes five months after the hugely successful second season debuted on Hulu in the US, and four months after it landed on Disney Plus internationally. The first two seasons of the critically acclaimed show are earning 100% and 99% review scores on Rotten Tomatoes, and considering how hungry fans are for another 10 episodes of the FX-developed series starring Jeremy Allen White, it’s not surprising that it gets another outing.

“The bearthat wowed audiences in its first season only to reach even greater heights in season two has become a cultural phenomenon,” Nick Grad, president of FX Entertainment, said in a statement.
“We are so proud to be working with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. The bear, which has won twelve awards, stars White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, an award-winning chef who returns to his childhood city of Chicago to take over his late brother’s sandwich shop, The Beef. Ayo Edibiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Lionel Boyce are among the stellar supporting cast.
Unfortunately, fans hoping for a quick and deliciously delicious return to The Beef will have to wait a long time. The now resolved writers’ strike and the ongoing actors’ strike have delayed production The bear‘s third season – the scripts need to be completed before principal photography can begin – so we won’t be dining on a new installment in the near future. In short: don’t expect a release date anytime soon.
