Matt Damon blends in with the locals at Derby Day as he puts on an aminated display while enjoying the local Melbourne horse racing event
Matt Damon was among the crowds on Derby Day in Melbourne, taking part in a horse race just like locals.
The Hollywood superstar put on an animated show as he watched from the sidelines with a group of friends.
The 53-year-old was a guest at LANDMARK by Lexus and mingled with his wife Luciana Barroso and girlfriend Elsa Pataky.
Looking dapper in a well-cut suit and sunglasses, Matt was seen smiling and pointing as he got well into the race.
The Bourne Identity star is good friends with Elsa’s husband Chris Hemsworth and regularly visits Australia to spend time at their mega-mansion in Byron Bay.

The actor lived in the countryside with his family for six months in 2021, where he filmed a role in the latest Thor installment.
“I’m so excited that my family and I can call Australia home for the next few months,” Matt said ahead of the shoot.
‘Australian film crews are known worldwide for their professionalism and are a pleasure to work with, so the fortnight of quarantine will definitely be worth it.’
He added: ‘Australia is definitely the lucky country.’

The American actor’s travels have only fueled rumors that he is planning to move Down Under full-time with his family.
A source told Woman’s Day: ‘Matt loves Australia… Chris is enjoying the quiet life away from Hollywood and that just makes it all the more appealing.’
This isn’t the first time reports have surfaced about Matt’s rumored plans to move to Byron Bay.
“Matt is telling friends and colleagues in Hollywood that he is moving the family to Australia for a year,” a “top” source told the publication.

‘Matt says the move will not affect his work as he will travel to where his projects are running. He also tells his friends that he wants a safe place to raise his children.”
But despite rumors of a move Down Under, Matt has denied he is leaving the US.
“Matt has been to Australia several times recently, but he has not bought a house there and is not moving there,” his rep said at the time.
Matt is married to Luciana Barroso, 47, and the couple have three daughters: Isabella, Gia and Stella.
The Good Will Hunting star is also the stepfather to Luciana’s daughter from her previous marriage, Alexia.
