Murray Bridge, South Australia: Tragedy as worker, 30, crushed to death by a dump truck at mulching factory

A 30-year-old man has died from his injuries after being crushed by a dump truck at a mulching company south-east of Adelaide.

Emergency services were called to the Brinkley business on Baker Rd, about 7km from Murray Bridge town centre, after a worker was seriously injured by heavy machinery at around 7.15am on Friday.

The man was rushed to the War Memorial Hospital at the scene, but later died from the injuries he sustained.

South Australia Police confirmed the Adelaide Hills man, from Callington, was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.

SafeWork SA and police are investigating the man’s death.

Police are also preparing a report for the coroner.
