According to a new report, Britney Spears wants to open up about why her relationship with her estranged husband Sam Asghari ended in her next memoir.

Spears, 41, gushed about Asghari, 29, in her recently released tell-all, The Woman In Me, but the singer had reportedly written the book before their divorce.

Insiders have said so We weekly that Spears does not intend to destroy her ex, but rather explain why the relationship ended.

“Britney doesn’t want to go after Sam,” an insider told us.

“She just wants to (talk about) why the relationship broke down.”

As for the critical acclaim her book has received, another source said, “Britney is on cloud nine because her book is doing well,” adding that the pop singer has “just grazed the surface” of what she wants for the world to share.

Spears is interested in moving forward with a second book to “explore more about survival” and describe “how she stays positive” during good and bad times, the insider added.

The Stronger singer had nothing but nice things to say about her estranged husband Sam in her recently released memoir, The Woman in Me, which hit shelves last week.

Asghari said of her kind comments after the book came out: “That made me smile to be honest, I’m very proud of her and I hope she takes over the world.”

Despite the recent end to their 14-month marriage after he filed for divorce in July due to “irreconcilable differences”, the pop star described her former partner as “a gift from God”.

“I appreciate how stable he is. I love that he doesn’t even drink,” she wrote of Asghari, whom she met in October 2016 while shooting the music video for her hit Slumber Party.”

The mother-of-two also told readers she “knew” she wanted him in her life “immediately.”

During her public hearing in June 2021, Spears said Asghari “squeezed” her hand as a sign of his support.

“I look up to him — his consistency with working out and being a good man and being healthy and taking care of me and helping me learn how to take care of each other,” she said. “He is such an inspiration and I am grateful.”

Sources told Page Six that Spears had already submitted her final manuscript for her book before they broke up.

When asked if he was nervous about the outcome of the tell-all story, Asghari told TMZ he wasn’t and that he had “already read it.”

“I’m very proud of her and you know, she put a lot of work into it, and it was very difficult, so I’m definitely excited and extremely proud of her,” Sam continued.

About the singer who wrote the book, he said: “It was a tough job.” In closing, he added, “I’m the first in line to buy it.”

However, her father, Jamie, reportedly has an opposing opinion about the memoir.

A source said TMZ that he has no plans to read the book, adding that he “doesn’t care about what Britney has to say about him in her new book…”

The insider continued: “She has already trashed him both in court and on social media, once saying she hoped he would spend the rest of his life in prison. ‘

In August, Sam filed for divorce from Spears after just over a year of marriage. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce and is asking for spousal support from the artist, as well as coverage for his legal costs.

Due to an “iron marriage contract,” Sam will not benefit from her upcoming memoir. He is mentioned in the book, but “not much,” a source recently told DailyMail.com.

According to TMZAsghari has previously claimed to others that Britney had gotten “physical” with him on several occasions during their relationship.
