Joss Stone has revealed that she secretly tied the knot with her long-term partner Cody DaLuz last week
The singer, 35, who shares Violet, two, and son Shackleton, 12 months, with her new husband, made their red carpet debut together as husband and wife at the opening of Joss’ new musical, Time Traveller’s Wife, at the Apollo Theater in London Wednesday.
The singer looked stunning in a floral maxi dress and wore a huge diamond ring on her wedding finger.
Promoting the show on 5 News earlier today, she shared the surprising news as she recalled how she caught a bouquet during one of the musical’s performances, prompting her to tie the knot.
He told the show’s director Bill Buckhurst, “(The bouquet) came towards me and I almost reached out to catch the flowers.”

“They dropped down here and there was an empty chair – the only empty chair in the whole room.”
She continued, “And no one went to pick them up and I thought, they were for me! So I picked them up and everyone said “yay!!!” Anyway, I went home to Nashville and we got married last Thursday.”
Joss left everyone in the studio stunned, joking: ‘And I thought it was a good omen!’.
“Wow, that’s real magic,” said the director.
While a beaming Joss agreed: “I know I thought, it must be a good sign.”
It comes just weeks after Joss revealed she and Cody had started the adoption process to expand their brood.
The couple revealed that they hope to take on the care of at least one other child and are going through the process of being approved as potential adoptive parents.
Joss told HELLO! magazine about the adoption process: ‘We are trying to do our home study. I hope we succeed. I want about 25 children.’
In addition to her plans to expand their family, Joss excitedly revealed that her eldest daughter Violet is already showing signs of being musical.

Joss explained, “Violet doesn’t really care about anything other than making art. She is obsessed with her ukulele – she runs around the house pretending to play it and sing – and she loves to paint and color.”
And Joss loves seeing the interaction between her two children. She said: “I saw them making each other laugh for the first time the other day. It was amazing.’
The Fell in Love With A Boy singer is a ‘big kid’ through and through. She said, “Actually, we all just want to play, don’t we?”
Joss recently revealed that she hopes to move back to Devon from her current base in Nashville, Tennessee, in time for her children to start school, as she wants them to have an upbringing similar to hers.
She told the Sunday Times magazine: ‘We’re moving to Devon in time for Violet to go to school. I want my children to have the kind of upbringing I had: riding horses, climbing trees and being close to my family. I hope Cody likes it there.”

The You Had Me singer is enjoying a “slower” pace of life now that she’s older and she’s grateful that having children has given her an “excuse” to ease her busy schedule.
She said, “When you have kids, you slow down. It has given me this wonderful excuse not to cram my schedule full. Touring is different now…
‘We always take the bus and travel at night, when the children are sleeping. I don’t know how two of them will fare because Cody works too. We don’t want to call for help, but maybe we should.’
