‘We see recovery trucks driving back and forth and there is a lot of mud on the ground.

‘The Environment Agency has issued a flood warning along the Thames stretching from Putney Bridge to Hampton and Thames Ditton and this is to warn of flooding and to avoid low lying footpaths.’

When the camera then returns to Mr Low after a pre-recorded segment with a member of the audience, his shock and confusion is evident.

Although viewers can’t see it, it’s clear that Mr. Low’s belongings have just been seized.

After a long pause, he intervenes again and informs the viewers: ‘Storm Ciaran on the way. A yellow weather warning will be in effect from 6pm on Wednesday.’
