People are angry about my ‘infuriating’ low-carb Maccas order – but I won’t stop getting it: ‘This is a crime against McDonald’s’
A health-minded foodie has infuriated her followers by revealing exactly what she orders at McDonald’s.
Kristy Hawk — a popular low-carb or Keto diet coach — likes to get her Macca’s fix without the bun.
The 41-year-old American content creator said she doesn’t go to McDonald’s often, but when she does, she likes to order a very specific “naked” burger.
She orders “at the kiosk” to ensure the Double Quarter Pounder burger is passed through correctly.
First she removes the bun, then the mustard and ketchup.

Sometimes she removes the onions and adds mayonnaise, light lettuce and pickles.
She washes it down with ice water.
Kristy shared a photo of the burger along with the description, and her order divided hundreds of followers.
“Then what’s the point of going to McDonald’s?” a woman asked.
“That pile of mayonnaise should scare you more than bread, but okay,” one man added.
‘If you’re going to eat waste, don’t collect it by leaving out the sandwich. You’re still putting waste into your body. This doesn’t make it any healthier,” a third added.
While others were impressed.
‘This is exactly what my McDonald’s orders look like when I go!! I’m glad I’m not the ONLY one,” one woman wrote.
“There’s no need for a sandwich, especially for those of us who watch what we eat,” said another.

Employees revealed that the “crazy command” is “annoying” to make, but is far from the only weird requests.
“A lot of people order cheeseburgers without meat,” one woman said.
“I once had someone order a burger with five different types of sauce,” says another.
Some customers revealed how they get rid of the high-carb sandwiches.
“If I know I’m going to eat at a fast food restaurant, I carry a low-carb tortilla in a ziplock bag in my bag.” Then I just roll the inside of the burger/sandwich onto my tortilla and eat it straight away.’
