The old M1 iMac looked good, so I’d like to see a new model with some improved components.

But! What do I hope to see tonight? Well, other than my nice, warm bed, I’d like to see some new iMacs. It’s been a while since Apple updated its all-in-one PC, so I guess it’s about time!

Or it could just be that Apple hates me. That could be it.

Others think that since the event is called “Scary Fast” and it’s almost Halloween, taking place late at night fits with the overall theme.

It’s 11:30pm here in the UK, so this is quite late for an Apple event; these are usually held earlier in the day. Why does this start so late (in about 30 minutes)? Good question: some people think this is because it will be gaming focused and that’s why Apple wants it to take place during Japanese business hours.

If you haven’t yet read our guide on how to watch the Apple event in October, make sure you head over there as we’ve embedded the live stream there.

Welcome to Ny Breaking’s ‘Scary Fast’ Apple live blog! I watch as Apple demonstrates… something. The company has obviously been tight-lipped, but there have been some compelling leaks suggesting we’ll be seeing some new iMacs and MacBooks tonight.
