Breast cancer survivors are hailing Kim Kardashian’s cheeky new bra because of the built-in faux nipples

She has built a fortune of more than £1 billion by using clever marketing skills to capitalize on her striking curves.

And now Kim Kardashian is set to boost her fortune by millions more with the release of a new bra with built-in fake nipples.

The 43-year-old reality star launched her new Skims Ultimate Nipple Bra with a cheeky ad on her Instagram account with 364 million followers.

In the ad, Kim said: ‘The Earth’s temperature is getting hotter, sea levels are rising and the ice caps are shrinking. I’m not a scientist, but I do believe that everyone can use their skills to do their part.

‘That’s why I’m introducing a brand new bra with a built-in nipple. So no matter how hot it is, you will always look cold. Some days are hard – but these nipples are harder.”

While fans called the new bra ‘genius’, the star’s Instagram feed was flooded with comments from people who had suffered breast cancer praising the design.

One wrote: ‘As a breast cancer survivor, thank you so much, I’m crying. We need this product so badly.”

Scottish-born Hollywood hairdresser Maxinne Lyon, who survived stage three breast cancer, said: ‘This bra will clearly appeal to Kim’s traditional fans and younger women who want to emulate her sexy look. But for breast cancer survivors, it’s a game changer.

‘When you undergo reconstructive surgery, the nipple is always the most difficult thing to repair. Usually they just tattoo the nipple.

This bra gives millions of women the opportunity to get a natural look again. I don’t think Kim probably thought of that when she designed the bra, but it’s genius.”

Fashion historian Dr Einav Rabinovitch-Fox said: ‘In the 1960s and 1970s, with the rise of the feminist movement and the counterculture, the ‘natural look’ gained popularity, especially the ‘no-bra look’.’

One Hollywood stylist said: ‘This is going to create a craze on the red carpet. Everyone is going for the ‘perky nipple’ look.”

The new bra goes on sale on Tuesday, the price is yet to be announced. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to the international charity 1% For the Planet.
