A man has died in a suspected collision that left him dragged along a road in Sydney’s west. Police are now investigating the gruesome incident.
Police are searching for the driver of a car after a 44-year-old man was found dead on Courallie Ave in Homebush West.
Officers were called to the scene around 8 p.m.
The police are investigating whether the man was the victim of a collision.

Photos from the scene showed specialist police surrounding the roadway and parked cars.
The victim is believed to have been dragged along the road during the incident.
“Officers from the Auburn Police Area Command secured a crime scene which was investigated by specialist police,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Police are believed to be looking for a black Mitsubishi seen at the time of the incident Saturday Telegraph reported.
Witnesses saw the victim walking to the car, possibly to talk to an acquaintance.
One resident said he saw a “disagreement” between the victim and the driver.
‘He leaned against the window. “It appeared the man was trying to grab the man in the car,” the witness said.
“He held the car and the driver accelerated.”
It is understood the victim then hit his head on the ground, with one witness saying there was ‘blood everywhere’.
