Kate Moss stuns in a black gown as she celebrates her new collaboration with the British Beauty Council in Covent Garden after being announced as their Global Ambassador
British Beauty Week kicked off with celebrations in Covent Garden on Thursday evening.
And to mark the launch, the British Beauty Council has announced Kate Moss as their Global Ambassador.
The supermodel, 49, looked effortlessly stylish in a black dress as she arrived at the event.
Kate will now work closely with the Council to showcase the sector and its work across policy, ESG, Talent and Growth.
The announcement coincides with the first anniversary of her beauty and wellness brand COSMOSS.

Speaking at the event, Kate said: ‘Beauty goes beyond the skin, it is the heartbeat of the creative industry that has helped build my career, and the careers of so many creative talent, from hair and make-up stylists to the set to the magicians behind the brands.
‘Beauty – seen and unseen – affects everyone, from the individual to the industry. I am so proud to be part of it and honored to have the opportunity to join the British Beauty Council.”
The British Beauty Council is an organization committed to solving the shared challenges of beauty and representing the wider industry by initiating conversations with government to address the issues facing the industry today and in the future faces.
The Council works with a diverse network of clients and affiliates, so that every sector within the beauty industry can benefit from it.
Kate’s beauty brand has been compared to a British version of Gwyneth Paltrow’s American company Goop, as Kate became the latest celebrity to enter the wellness market.
The supermodel, who currently lives in the Cotswolds, claimed at the launch on September 1, 2022 that the brand is ‘self-care created for life’s modern journeys’.
Kate’s beauty products, made from “powerful, natural substances,” are broken down into three daily rituals that are said to “balance body and soul with the natural environment and circadian cycles.”
The website describes that these rituals allow us to “adapt to the rhythms of nature, help us find inner peace and self-fulfillment, and open a door to balance, restoration and love.”

The full three rituals cost more than £400, while the popular Golden Nectar serum – which contains the ‘mythical’ tears of Chios, a plant resin produced on the Greek island – alone has a price tag of £105.
The morning ritual, which fills the body with ‘positive energy’, costs £287 in total and includes a £21 antioxidant ‘dawn tea’, £52 cleanser and £95 anti-aging face cream.
It’s then finished with the £120 Sacred Mist eau de perfume which ‘envelops you in its hypnotic yet grounding scent’ to ‘give a sense of inner peace’.
During the day, Kate recommends using her ‘mood boosting’ scent again, followed by the Golden Nectar serum – a CBD-infused ‘ultimate antioxidant oil’.
With an eye-watering price tag of just 30ml, it is described as ‘a daily indulgence that cares for your skin, body, mind and soul’.
Her third and final twilight ritual then includes a £20 calming evening tea, the £52 cleanser again, the Golden Nectar oil and the £95 day and night cream.
In addition to her skincare and teas, Kate will also reportedly use her wellness brand to sell healthy foods and mineral supplements.
