Jay-Z hilariously admits Blue Ivy, 11, now asks HIM if her style is ‘cool’… after the daughter he shares with wife Beyonce shunned his fashion advice

Jay-Z is finally a “cool dad,” according to his daughter Blue Ivy.

The legendary rapper, 53, revealed how his status with his 11-year-old daughter – who he shares with Beyonce – recently upgraded during a hilarious preview of his interview with Gaye King on Wednesday.

The couple’s eldest child used to be a little ashamed of her parents, like any young whippersnapper, even going so far as to infamously shush her parents in the audience at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

With her fashionista status bestowed upon her practically at birth and having stolen the spotlight onstage at Beyonce’s recent Renaissance Tour, it also seemed like Blue’s stardom was eclipsing her own parents’ fame.

But now it seems Blue has turned a corner and thinks her mom and dad are “cool” enough to ask them for advice, according to the “Empire State of Mind” hitmaker.

“She used to be a little head-on with me,” Jay-Z explained to Gayle with a big smile. “But (now) I catch her. I catch her in the corner, you know? Now she’s asking me if this is cool, if her sneakers are cool.’

Gayle stepped in to clarify, “She wants your advice?” to which Jay-Z replied, “Yes, yes, yes.”

“There was a time when she was like, ‘Daaaaad,'” he continued, doing an impression of Blue covering her face in shame.

‘I am cool. I don’t know what you’re saying,” he hilariously recalled to Blue. ‘I am cool! You have nice parents! At your house your parents are cool.’

Often seen in stylish outfits at public events and awards shows alongside Jay-Z and Beyonce, Blue has become one of the hottest fashionistas.

In 2018, at the age of six, she also became the youngest person to ever appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her feature film on “Brown Skin Girl.”

Earlier this month, Blue’s grandmother revealed another of the superstar’s talents.

While talking about her granddaughter to her Instagram followers, Tina Knowles revealed that the preteen is an incredible makeup artist.

“I’m here with the makeup guru. Makeup extraordinaire, Miss Blue Ivy Carter,” Tina said in an Instagram video. ‘I like it very much.’

Blue took all her talents on the road this summer during her mother’s Renaissance Tour.

She could be seen dancing flawlessly alongside Beyonce, proving that she had mastered the difficult choreography. And she rocked the amazing outfits just as well.

After her eldest daughter’s first performance at a private show in Paris last May, Beyonce spoke about Blue and her acting skills.

“My beautiful firstborn, I am so proud and grateful to be your mother,” the “Formation” singer wrote in an Instagram post. “You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”

The couple’s twins, Sir and Rumi Carter, arrived on June 13, 2017.
