Wolverhampton 6:00 – Middlesex tries to break the girl

The Bet £10, get £40 at BetMGM EBF Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes (6:00) features Charlie Johnston’s Middlesexwho was an excellent second behind the exciting Tamafana at Kempton last time out.

She has placed in all three starts so far and this looks to be the most winnable opportunity yet, although there are a few opponents worth mentioning.

Tayala was beaten favorite last time out for the Ed Walker team and, like Middlesex, has a handicap rating of 70.

Of the others, Qatar Racing Toes could improve with Oisin Murphy in the saddle, while the Johnston team also releases Magna Grecia filly Mon Etoile.

Lingfield 1:55 – Veiled Illusion is penalized

James Tate’s yard will hope Veiled illusion can give weight and a beating to his rivals in the Bet £10, get £40 at BetMGM Novice Stakes (1:55).

The Kodiac colt won third time on this course and distance last time and seems to have found a pretty good opportunity to repeat that success.

Ulysses foal Joycean way has run decently in two starts, but this looks an easier task, with Christian David qualifying for the Richard Hannon team last time out at Newmarket.

There are also three debutants lined up, with Hannon running the Siyouni filly Yellow Lemons in the Sullivan Bloodstock colours.

Lingfield 3:40 – Boughey and Loughnane combine with Blessed Boy

Champion student Billy Loughnane combines with George Boughey Blessed boy in the BetMGM: It’s Showtime Limited Bet for Beginners (3:40).

Two-year-old Seabhac was beaten under two lengths on debut at Southwell and will prove difficult to beat if he improves on that form.

Richard Kingscore drives Savior for Hugo Palmer – his third in Salisbury is arguably better form than Blessed Boy’s and should certainly be noted.
