There are a few upgrades that make the Tent Hang Ten trophy much easier to complete. First, in Shared art treeyou can do both Spider-Jump and Spider-Dash upgrades in the middle of the tree, as two parallel skills near the end.

The Spider Jump boosts you into the air when you press L1 + X, and the Spider-Dash is a horizontal dash that you can move with L1 + Triangle. When you’re running in the air, these trigger skills can buy you more time, allowing you to pull off extra skills and build your combo.

The caveat with these upgrades is that they have a cool timer, which can get in the way of success. We recommend investing in Aerial Escapades upgrade too, which is in the same tree after both skills. Aerial Escapades allows you to fill up your Spider-Jump and Spider-Dash cooldowns faster by performing tricks in mid-air, creating a loop that allows you to maintain your mid-air status.

Also upgrade these buff skills with Suit Tech Traversal Active Spiderwhich boosts the height of Spider-Salt and the range of Spider-Dash. While this upgrade is not necessary to complete the trophy, it still helps the fighter.

You can try the trophy anyway, although we recommend using it the shores of the sea in Manhattan. When you are in the center of the city, you will accidentally find yourself in buildings and other obstacles, denying you your success. The only thing to be careful of is the bridges, which may come in at different heights.

Once you have found a good spot with a long and clear line of buildings to your right or left side, you are ready to begin your project.

You can either climb a tall building or jump off the ground, but both; start with a huge swing and boost from it by hitting X in your height moment. When you’re at a decent height and peeling through the air, hold the Square button and the left stick in any direction to hit various tricks. The combo multiplier will only increase when you switch between tricks, so don’t hold onto anything for long — just keep new tricks active to juice the multiplier up to 30.

When you start to fall and it gets sketchy, use your Spider-Jump and Spider-Dash skills to avoid the ground by pressing L1 + Triangle or L1 + X. If you want to upgrade the Air Escape skill, you’ll find that when you complete the quick techniques, the Spider-Jump and you’ll earn your Spider-Dash back, creating a loop of sustainability. Your mileage may vary, but this will make sure you don’t run out of steam, and before long, you’ll be putting together a 30 trick combo. Just keep going as long as you can to be safe and hit the ground gracefully to pop the trophy.
