Glenn Maxwell has created history in India after hitting the fastest ever World Cup hundred, putting Australia in control of the match against the Netherlands.
Amid a mini-collapse in Australia at mid-order, Maxwell came to the crease and blasted 101 off just 41 balls in a dazzling innings, etching his name in the history books.
Maxwell had 35 runs off 21 balls at one point, before putting his foot on the gas and hitting 66 off the next 19 balls.
He reached three figures with a huge uppercut six, who shot into the stands behind the square leg.
The short format specialist celebrated his incredible blowout by pretending to be cradling a baby after recently welcoming his newborn son Logan.
