Kakadu National Park: Desperate search for Jessica Stephens, 35, who vanished during camping trip near Nourlangie Rock

Police have launched a desperate land and air search for a missing woman who was last seen in a crocodile-infested nature park almost a week ago.

Jessica Louise Stephens, 35, was last seen in Kakadu National Park, 150 kilometers south-east of Darwin, on October 19.

Northern Territory police believe Ms Stephens may have been camping near Nourlangie Rock.

Her family hasn’t heard from her, but the police found her car.

Kakadu National Park Rangers are assisting police in their extensive search of the area.

Kakadu is one of Australia’s largest national parks, covering almost 20,000 square kilometers of land.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about Ms Stephens’ whereabouts to contact them immediately.
