Travis Kelce has had a great performance with Taylor Swift this season, but Micah Parsons doesn’t think the pop star should get any credit.
A hilarious image was shown during the Chiefs’ 31-17 win over the Chargers last weekend, showing the stark difference in Kelce’s performance this season when his new love interest wasn’t watching him.
Kelce had his best game of the season yet on Sunday as he tallied 12 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown.
And while the “Midnights” singer’s presence certainly doesn’t hinder Kelce’s style, Parsons thinks he would have performed that way anyway.
“I saw a statistic that Travis Kelce plays better when Taylor Swift is there,” he said on The Edge with Micah Parsons. “Travis Kelce is my boy, the best tight end in the league for the last three, four years. So it’s clearly not Taylor Swift.”

However, the Cowboys linebacker acknowledged that playing for Swift has given Kelce more “swagger” and “confidence.”
But I’ll tell you one thing. “If there’s a bad girl and she’s there and she’s watching you, it gives you an extra boost of confidence,” said Parsons. “When you go to the gym (to play basketball) and your girl is with you, I don’t care who’s in front of me.
“Like I’m sure Kawhi Leonard could be in front of me — I’ve got to give him 30 (points).
“So you know what Kelce is doing, I know what’s going on. He was already doing it, so now it’s like, ‘Yeah, I’m going to do it more now.’ Like it’s a swagger, it’s a confidence when that thing happens, y’all know how it goes.”
Swift has attended four of Kelce’s games this season, with the tight end averaging 108 yards receiving in those contests.

Meanwhile, he has averaged just 46.5 yards in the three games Swift has not attended.
With Swift resuming her Eras Tour in Argentina on November 9, Kelce will soon be “left to his own devices,” as CBS’ chart read.
For now, Chiefs coach Andy Reid is happy to have her at Arrowhead Stadium.
“Kelce is getting better over time, Taylor can stay around all she wants,” he said after the game.
