British paedophile suspect, 65, wanted by Interpol is arrested on Greek holiday island of Kos accused of sexually abusing girls and boys
- The pedophile was arrested by the Greek police in Kos on Saturday
- He is wanted because he allegedly abused girls and boys and was violent towards them
- An international arrest warrant is said to have been issued for him
A British suspected pedophile who was under an international arrest warrant has been arrested on the Greek holiday island of Kos.
Local media reported that the unnamed 65-year-old Englishman was arrested in Kos on Saturday and is wanted by British authorities for allegedly sexually abusing young girls and boys and committing violence against them.
Greek media reported that after his arrest he was taken to the Dodecanese Public Prosecutor’s Office in Rhodes, which is processing his extradition to Britain.
The man has not yet been identified. Interpol’s Red Notice list does not include anyone who matches the publicly available list, although the international criminal organization points out:
“The majority of Red Notices are intended for law enforcement use only.

‘Excerpts of Red Notices are published at the request of the Member State concerned and when the public’s assistance may be required to locate an individual or if the individual may pose a threat to public safety.’
The news comes just months after the semi-naked body of a Polish hotel worker, who was allegedly raped and murdered, was found in a bag on the island.
Anastazja Rubińska’s strangled remains were found by Greek police following a week-long investigation following the 27-year-old’s disappearance in June.
Rubińska was found dead about 800 meters from the home of a 32-year-old Bangladeshi man who was arrested, and 500 meters from where her mobile phone was found.
The story shocked Poland, with Prime Minister Mateus Morawiecki saying at the time: ‘I am shocked by the brutal murder of Anastazja.
‘The murderer must bear the most serious consequences. “We will therefore ask Greece to extradite the suspect so that he can be tried in a Polish court and receive the harshest sentence.”
