Eagle-eyed viewer spots a shocking error in early 2000s TV classic Dawson’s Creek: ‘They really had no budget’
Viewers have pointed out a shocking error during an episode of early 2000s TV classic Dawson’s Creek.
In a resurfaced clip from the show, posted to a fan’s Instagram page, Joshua Jackson’s character is seen walking through the snow in front of a house decorated with Christmas lights.
The fan pointed out that the characters were walking on a big white blanket instead of a fake show.
“Man Dawson’s Creek thinks we wouldn’t notice… They really had no budget for the show,” they captioned the video.
One person commented on the images, writing: ‘Omg. They just threw a blanket on the floor and called it a day.”

Katie Holmes character Joey Potter grew up next to best friend Dawson Leery, played by James Van Der Beek.
Dawson – an extreme film buff with an interest in Steven Spielberg films – believed Joey was his soulmate.

Michelle Williams’ character Jen Lindley moved to the quiet town from New York to be with her conservative grandmother, and eventually fell in love with Dawson.
The show ran on the WB Network from 1998 to 2003.
