Nancy Sinatra’s former home goes on sale for first time in 50 YEARS – as retro property hits the market for $3 MILLION

A glamorous Los Angeles home once owned by Nancy Sinatra is now on the market for just under $3 million.

Additionally, this is the first time in fifty years that the Beverly Hills estate has been for sale, although Nancy first acquired it as a home for her and her then-husband six decades ago, around 1963.

The mid-century modern estate sits on almost 0.3 hectares of land at the bottom of a gorge, with breathtaking all-round views of the extensive hills in the immediate area.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence spans approximately 2,700 square feet and features a “largely preserved” living space.

Frank Sinatra’s eldest daughter bought the property while married to pop star Tommy Sands in the 1960s, shortly before the release of her smash hit These Boots Are Made For Walkin’ in 1966.

The house was then occupied for a short time by Lost in Space director Sobey Martin.

In 1973 it was sold to Abraham and Renee Frank for what, in today’s dollars, would be roughly the equivalent of just over $1.2 million.

Since the couple passed away, the house has been home to their only daughter, Orly Frank, who has lived there since she was in high school but still made the decision to put it up for sale.

Located at 2296 Betty Lane, just off Coldwater Canyon Drive, the home currently still has its original kitchen – which connects to a room for live-in hired help.

The master bedroom, meanwhile, features a walk-in closet (rest assured, with plenty of room for plenty of boots).

However, the beauty of the property lies in the historic details that have been preserved through attention to the modern features, such as a white brick fireplace, accented by a yellow floating fireplace in the living room.

Nearby is an iconic martini bar, where Nancy has been captured at least once in a photographic portrait.

The spacious living room has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden.

Meanwhile, the outdoor space includes a motor court with a ‘modern entrance’ – while just a few steps away, glass walls open onto a sundeck-surrounded pool with picturesque views of the hills.

The two-car garage, which is accessed via a driveway, is also seen at the beginning of the music video for Nancy’s 1967 song I have to leave this town.

Broker Steve Frankel of Coldwell Banker Realty, who owns the listing, described the home as a rarity.

“Rarely do we see a home come to the market with such a rich Hollywood history,” Steve said of the property.

“This is a great opportunity to restore this 1950s gem with a glamorous Hollywood history,” he continued, adding that the house “ooffers privacy and the ultimate in quiet living.’

Nancy’s isn’t the only LA home of a famous Hollywood character to hit the market recently.

Earlier this year, the former Bel-Air home of Alfred Hitchcock and his family was sold to a Dutch media mogul for $8.8 million.
