Kyle Sandilands’ former roommate has made some eyebrow-raising claims about what it was like living with the shock jock.

“Every night at 8 p.m. he looked at me and said, ‘Remember when I took you off the street and gave you a job? Can you drive down the street and get Paddle Pops out of the servo?”

Lauren quickly added, “I’m sure that was the old Kyle.”

Hawkins lived with Kyle for a while in the early 2000s after the radio veteran poached him from Triple M in Brisbane.
