Lizzie Cundy looked glamorous as she went for her breast cancer check-up at Natural Doctor on Harley Street, London.

The TV personality, 55, spoke of her “concerns” before the appointment, but added that she was relieved to have the “all clear” in a candid update.

Stepping out on Saturday, she looked stylish as ever in a black turtleneck sweater and leather leggings.

Lizzie added to her height with heeled boots and later layered over a cream blazer.

Speaking in a video, which was shared on Instagram, the presenter explained the importance of screening as she worked to raise awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Week.

She explained: “Hi everyone, well I’m very relieved as you know it’s breast cancer awareness month so I went to check it out.

“I was a bit worried, but I’m very happy to say that I’m all clear.”

“Just a message to everyone to go get checked.” It is really worth it, it is better to know and if there is a problem, early diagnosis. I’m very happy to know that I’m fine.’

In 2014, Lizzie revealed the shocking news that she was suffering from a pre-cancerous condition called Barrett’s oesophagus, which she believed was caused by her ‘out of control drinking’.

The cause of the disease is thought to be long-term acid reflux or heartburn – and drinking alcohol is thought to make the problem worse.

“I was never like my old friend George Best, but the truth is that drinking became a problem for me,” she told The Mail On Sunday.

Lizzie first sought medical advice after “waking up in agony in the night with terrible chest pains, after months of feeling bad,” she recalls.

It comes after the TV personality claimed she went blind after a filler procedure.

Lizzie told MailOnline: “I’ve never been so scared to think I could have almost lost my sight if I hadn’t done my research and just wanted to look and feel better!”

Lizzie said she knew something was wrong within minutes.

She said her eyes swelled up and as time went on, her vision began to blur.

Recalling the ordeal, she explained: ‘Well, I was literally feeling a bit tired and a friend said: “Yeah, you look quite tired Lizzy… haven’t you tried eye filler? It can take you 10 years!”

“I didn’t really think too much about it and just thought, ‘Yeah, why not?’

“It was a knee jerk as I was feeling a bit down and had a bit of a rough time so I wanted to feel and look better – a quick fix!”

But as soon as the treatment was over, I felt something was wrong.

I felt the needle so close to my eye that I was scared and by the time I got home I saw that my eyes were completely swollen… like I was having an allergic reaction!’

Luckily, Lizzie was able to hire an experienced eye doctor who was able to save her sight, but insists others should think twice before having similar procedures.

The TV star also admitted she fears she won’t be able to see her two sons, Josh and James, again
