Recently, the California-based love specialist detailed the warning signs at the start of a relationship
Sabrina captioned the video: “Three warning signs to look out for in early dating.”
“Here are three warning signs to look out for in the very early stages of dating: One or two dates first,” she said at the beginning of the video.
The first sign that things may be going wrong is when one or both parties idealize the situation too much.
She noted that if someone loves you too much early in the relationship, they might “love bomb” you.
Sabrina added that someone can’t get to know you on that level within one or two dates, so you shouldn’t fall for it.
She suggested that you set boundaries and ask your crush to tone it down if he or she did this to you.
“Number two: monopolizing your social time. Again, I get it, it’s so exciting when you meet someone you really like, you think, “Oh my God, I want to spend all my time with him.”
The dating coach noted that this is a bad tactic because you “have to live your own life.”

She added that if someone tries to “alienate you from your friends or spend all their time with you, it could be a sign of possessiveness.”
The third flag Sabrina mentioned was selective listening.
“They remember specific things you said about things that affect them, but when it comes to your boundaries and non-negotiables, they just seem to have forgotten,” she explained.
She noted that this shows that this person is self-centered.
Viewers flooded the comments section, praising the expert for her tips.
One person said: ‘Yes. This. I wish more people understood this.’
Someone else said: ‘God, I wish I knew this before I turned 50, but I’m so glad you’re telling this to young women, it’s vital!’

“Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way,” someone else commented.
