Daniel Radcliffe reveals he reads Harry Potter fan fiction about fantasy relationships between his character and Draco Malfoy

Daniel Radcliffe revealed he has been reading online fan fiction about fantasy relationships between Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy.

The actor, 34, appeared on Vanity Fair’s popular lie detector video series and was interviewed alongside his Merry We Roll Along costars Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez.

When the topic turned to Harry Potter, Daniel was asked if he had ever googled it himself.

The Woman in Black star admitted that he did and when asked to reveal if he had ever read fan fiction about his character, he replied that he had.

Daniel further revealed that he had read about his and Tom Felton’s character Draco coming together for a relationship.

‘I’m clearly aware that there are a lot of similarities between bringing Harry and Draco together as characters. So I read some of that,ā€ he added.

ā€œWhat is shipping?ā€ Groff asked in the 20-minute video, which was published Tuesday.

Daniel, who is currently starring in a 1981 Broadway revival, explained that shipping is “kind of like when you want two characters to come together for a relationship.”

He also revealed other bizarre claims, such as that the SAS walks his dogs and some even claim that he has a ‘special beer brewed for myself by monks in a monastery in Belgium’.

In the same meeting, Daniel hit back at the claim that he was growing to become the next Wolverine.

He’s recently been plagued by rumors that he’s about to take over Hugh Jackman’s role as Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe-teased X-Men movie – all because of his ripped new physique.

Speculation among hopeful Marvel and Harry Potter fans flared after the actor showed off his muscles in the season finale of TBS comedy Miracle Workers earlier this year.

However, the stunned movie star confirmed he is not in the running for the role.

He said he decided to become buff because he just wanted to.

It comes after the star welcomed his first child with long-term partner Erin Darke, 38, in April.

The actor looked every bit the doting dad as he was first pictured pushing the newborn in a stroller, with Erin following closely behind in New York City.
