Palgrave Queensland light plane crash: Emergency services rush to location west of Warwick

Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a light aircraft crash in Queensland.

The crash reportedly took place in Palgrave, south-west of Warwick, in the Southern Downs region.

It is understood that paramedics are on their way to the accident

At this time it is not yet known how many passengers are on board and whether there are any injuries.

Queensland Police were notified of the incident at 12.13pm.

Queensland Police confirmed they attended an aviation incident in the area.

An RACQ LifeFlight rescue helicopter was also sent to the scene.

A spokesperson for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said four crews were also at the scene and the crash had caused a grass fire, according to the Courier Mail.
