In a video post, Sue told fans: “Hi, I’m Sue Cleaver and I play Mother Superior in Sister Act.

“We’re here today to do a photoshoot to kick off the new Sister Act tour.” So, meet everyone, put on the costumes, make those pictures. So we’ve got lights, we’ve got cameras – and we’ve got a nun!’

Speaking about why she’s taking on the role, Sue admitted it’s been more than 30 years since she’s been on stage, but said theater has always been her first love.’

She added: “I’m a huge fan of the Sister Act movie and musical. I mean what’s not to love?

“This is a great experience for the whole family.” It’s very accessible, it’s fun, it’s uplifting. Yes, everyone needs a little sister act in their life.’

Her fans went wild over the look as they commented that they couldn’t wait to come and watch the show.

It comes after Sue revealed earlier this year that she had been rushed to intensive care after undergoing emergency surgery.

The star opened up about the ‘terrible, terrible’ time during an appearance on Loose Women in August, also revealing she had a hysterectomy in March.

She wanted to share her health issues with viewers after food companies used her image without consent, claiming she had lost weight using their gummies.

Speaking about her ordeal, she said: “I had a really bad year. I had a hysterectomy in March. Then a few weeks ago I ended up in A&E, I don’t need to go into details but I haven’t been on a diet this year. I was seriously ill.

“It was a very scary time. I had surgery and ended up in intensive care. No child, no tires. These companies pray for vulnerable people all the time.’

It is not clear if the surgery was related to her hysterectomy.

Sue went on to reveal that she was actively trying to put on weight, clarifying: “just on my butt. NHS brought me a cushion to sit on.

“I’d like to go to a store where I can buy a Victoria’s Biscuit or something so I can choose where I want to put it!”

Speaking about the reaction to her weight loss, she added: “When someone says omg you look amazing, what I hear is ‘you looked like an absolute dog before.’

A week before Sue warned her 148,000 Instagram followers about the scam, apologizing to anyone who believed she was promoting her.

In the clip, she shared, “I’m really, really sad that I have to make this video. But, I’ve had quite a few messages over the past few weeks asking me about…keto dolls.

“Apparently there is some scam out there that says I lost weight using keto gummies. Dummies? I do not know. Well, that’s c**p. It’s a scam. And if that got you, I’m so sorry.’

‘That’s outrageous. And I just want you to know that I would never, ever, ever advocate such a thing. I’m absolutely pissed.

“Yes, I lost some weight last year. I stopped drinking and went into the jungle. Yes, I lost weight this year. But not with just any child.’

Sue revealed that she had ‘women’s health issues’ which contributed to her weight loss, concluding: ‘Life is too short to worry about dieting and finding quick fixes. Just be happy with yourself.’
