Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City: Angie Katsanevas confronts Monica Garcia over spreading rumors about her husband during Greek Easter party

Angie Katsanevas confronted Monica Garcia about her part in spreading rumors about her husband on Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on Bravo.

Monica, 38, told Angie at her Greek Easter party that she didn’t believe the rumors about her husband Sean Trujillo being with other men, she just wanted Angie, 48, to be aware of what was being said.

“I didn’t hear it from Meredith, I heard it from the streets of Salt Lake City,” Monica said, referring to their friend Meredith Marks. “I’m telling you about the rumours, Angie.”

“You’re saying things you don’t have any facts to back them up,” Angie said.

Angie said she heard things about Monica too, but she would never share that.

“Go ahead with it,” Monica said. ‘What do you have? Foreclosure? To check. Divorce? To check. An affair? To check. What else do you want? I will own everything.’

“I never would,” Angie said.

“The difference between you and me is that I’m not fucking hiding it,” Monica said. “Everyone here is talking crap behind your back, I’m just saying it to your face.” And you hate me for it when you should hate all other people.’

Monica’s mother, Linda, came over and told them both to bury the hatchets.

‘Don’t fucking pull this s*** with me when you don’t have my back,’ Monica told her mother.

“You’re in someone’s house,” Linda said.

“I won’t do that because it will be ugly between you and me,” Monica said.

Linda kept telling Monica to go to the bathroom with her, but Monica told her to ‘get out of my face’.

‘What happens?’ Lisa Barlow, 48, asked.

Monica left. In the confessional, she said she didn’t know what her mother was doing.

“I feel completely betrayed,” Monica said.

The group danced while people threw money at them. Linda went to talk to Monica, but she told her that she knew she wasn’t worried about her.

“You really are a heartless person,” Monica said.

Monica told her mother she could find her own way home, then picked up her children and left.

“I hate feeling like I wish I had a different mom, but I wish I had a different mom,” Monica said. ‘All I can do is hope I can be the mum I wanted to be for my children.’

The fourth season episode titled The Olive Branch with Thorns began with Angie inviting everyone to a Greek Easter party by sending a costumed Easter Bunny to personally invite them.

Whitney Rose (36) went out to dinner with her husband Justin. Justin said he felt overwhelmed by his new job. Whitney told him she wanted him to start the conversations because she didn’t want to always be the one bringing things up.

“Just like I don’t always want to be the one to initiate sex,” Justin said.

“Women need to connect to open up to have sex,” Whitney said. “I know it was a stupid fight.” I got mad at you for not wearing a wedding ring, so I took mine off. But it’s just a trigger that you’re back at work and now I’m just at home with the kids trying to figure this all out. And seeing your wedding ring in the drawer every day hurts me, which is sad.’

Whitney was wiping her tears with a napkin.

“I’m sorry I don’t want you to feel that way,” Justin said.

Lisa met Angie at a candle making class. Angie said she invited everyone to her Easter party except Meredith Marks. Lisa said that Monica seemed to be doubling down on rumors that Angie’s husband was hooking up with other men.

“Monica and I were cheated on by a very dear friend,” Angie said. “We were both cheated by Jen (Shah). That’s what the two of us bonded over.’

Angie said she considers Monica a friend.

“What she did to you was evil,” Lisa said. “She’s not your friend.”

Mary Cosby, 50, sat down with her son Robert Jr., 20, and asked him if the rumors she’d heard about him being married were true.

‘Is it true?’ Mary said.

“I don’t know,” Robert Jr. said.

Mary asked if that was a yes or no.

“I kind of think so,” Robert Jr. said. ‘I went to the courtroom.’

“Lord, have mercy,” said Mary. ‘Where was I when you did that? You snuck in and did that?’

“It’s been almost a year,” Robert Jr. said.

Mary was upset.

“And you are my only son,” said Mary. ‘I have no one else. I only have you.’

“I’m still here,” Robert Jr. said.

Mary began to cry.

‘Think you’re ready for marriage?’ Mary asked.

He said yes.

Heather Gay, 49, called her daughter, Ashley, who had just returned from spring break in Cabo, and told her that Lisa’s son, Jack, was going on a mission. Heather later said she was happy her daughter was in a string bikini and enjoying herself.

“I’m never going to say a negative word, but how do I support and be a good friend when what he’s doing is, like, I’m against politically, socially, emotionally and morally?” Heather said. “I feel sick inside. Mission is like boot camp for Mormonism.’

Heather said Lisa didn’t want to talk to her about her son going on a mission.

Meredith Marks, 51, went to Mary’s house and she told her she had just found out her son was married. Meredith told her that was crazy and then asked her how she kept herself safe.

“It gets monotonous trying to give people a chance,” Mary said.

Meredith agreed. Meredith said she was accused of spreading rumors that Angie’s husband was gay, which she found ironic because her own son was gay.

“I would never comment on someone’s sexuality,” Meredith said.

Mary asked Meredith if she got an invitation to Angie’s Greek Easter lunch. Meredith said she wasn’t invited, but she wouldn’t be in town anyway.

“I’m going to LA for the GLAD Awards which I’m really, really excited about,” Meredith said.

Mary said she didn’t even want to go to brunch.

Angie got ready for brunch and got a huge stack of one dollar bills from the bank and said she was going to teach the women how to do Zeibekiko.

“Give them a chance to dance around the drink and we’ll all throw them a dollar,” Angie said.

Angie’s father arrived at the Easter event, and Angie said in the confessional that her father raised seven children after her mother died.

“Being an immigrant, my father gave us the gift to love the Greek culture, the Greek community, the traditions,” Angie said.

Heather arrived and asked Angie’s husband Sean where he got his custom clothes.

“From my gay boyfriend,” Sean said.

Heather laughed.

“He’s a fantastic tailor,” Heather said.

Monica’s mother, Linda, LD, appeared and asked Angie’s father if she was alone.

“I’m alone,” Linda said. “I’m all for it.”

Heather confronted Lisa at the party for not talking to her about Jack’s mission. Lisa said she wasn’t comfortable talking about it with her because she had such a different experience.

“I need to be in a space with Jack where I support what he’s doing right now,” Lisa said.

‘Why don’t you want to read my book?’ Heather said. ‘Why don’t you want to know about my experience?’

“Is this about your book now?” Lisa said. “You wrote a book about being a bad Mormon. I’m focused on my child being a good Mormon.’

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns next week on Bravo.
