Since Seasons of Blood isn’t a full expansion (it’s not coming next year), don’t expect a new region or any other major changes. but rather Diablo 4 season 2 will introduce a vampire-themed story and gear, plus a wave of balance tweaks. Here is a high-level overview of the significant changes:

  • Vampire hunter Erys anchors a time-based quest that sees you fight against a vampire lord.
  • You can wield vampiric powers and equip armor called Covenant Armor that allows you to tap into those powers.
  • Temporal Realm will once again organize both a free and a paid version of the battle, granting each with a variety of pigments.
  • Season 2 customer feature the Blood Harvest Season Eventwho you shoot waves of blades in certain places of the Sanctuary. (Blizzard did not announce a start date for the seasonal event).
  • You can fight five new endgame bosses, each of which has a different type of resistance.
  • All five classes are getting even a little bit. Rogues and Druids won’t see huge changes, but Wizards, Barbarians, and Necromancers are getting big rewards. You can read all the details here in our summary Diablo 4 Season 2 patch notes.
