A construction worker has been rushed to hospital after a crane ran over the man at a jobsite in southeast Queensland.

Emergency services were called to a work site on Beaudesert Boonah Road in Bromelton, about 80 kilometers south of Brisbane, about 6.49am on Wednesday.

Paramedics were notified that a man suffered serious leg injuries following the incident.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was run over by a crane at the workplace.
