The couple, who have been married since 2011, also appeared on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp on Tuesday.

During their radio appearance, the pair played ‘Home Truths’ where they were invited to reveal the secrets they kept from each other.

Abbey kicked things off by saying her husband was causing her ‘pain’.

She said: ‘Mand the home truth is that when we do our podcast together, especially the audio book, your heavy breathing just makes me sick.’

Able to accept the confession, Pete replied, “Then you wanted to go to the antique fair. I had my manager send me an email saying “I had to work”. I showed you that email, I left the antique fair earlier. I went and played golf.’

Abbey was shocked. She said, ‘Are you kidding me? It’s one of our favorite days. We get a hot dog, hot chocolate. It is the best….’

The fashionista said she found it “sick” that Pete’s manager was faking the emails.

Trying to get him on him, Abbey said to Pete: ‘Okay, well, you know that secret vacation you booked for me? I know where it is.

“And it’s literally … I’d rather die than go there.” We can’t say where it is, and my daughter had to say, “mom, you need to stop talking about this location because that’s where you’re going,” and I’m just telling you now… I know.’

Pete then told her that he purposely pretended not to hear her banging on the windows because he found it amusing that she was locked out of the house and left her outside for an hour and a half.

He told her: ‘We heard you. And we found it incredibly funny that you got so angry and we could see you walking in the back.

‘She was there for about an hour and a half.’

Abbey shot back, “What’s not funny? My next home truth… which is you know when you tweet something and then you look at it for like two hours and you’re like “oooh honey look at this comment”. Just saying “look how funny they think I am”… it’s not funny, man.’
