In a bizarre raid, a SWAT team arrested four squatters who were running an illegal strip club out of a house in suburban Atlanta – where the premises were reportedly home to everything from dancers to live horses.

Neighbors were finally able to get authorities to come to the home at 4951 Wewatta Street in South Fulton after complaining about the nightmare next door.

In addition to the illegal dancers, the house also hosted loud parties and car races on weekends, neighbors said.

“They would get live horses. One day they had live horses,” said an unidentified neighbor.

The neighbors not only lost sleep, but also woke up the next day to piles of trash in front of the house.

They were also annoyed by the occasional gunshots in the area and the stench of marijuana.

“There was always something going on in that house,” said a neighbor.

After filing several complaints, police and the SWAT team finally showed up at the home last Sunday.

An officer said the final straw was a license plate reader discovering a stolen car on the property. Authorities said they also found two stolen cars, a stolen gun, stolen IDs and credit cards in the home WSB.

The driver of one of the stolen cars initially refused to come out, under pressure from police before they went inside.

Once officers got inside, they found another stolen car, stolen IDs and even stolen credit cards.

“A stolen gun was recovered from the residence,” South Fulton Police Chief Derick Rogers added.

DeAnthony Maddox, Jeremy Wheat, Kelvin Hall and Tarahsjay Forde were arrested at the scene. All four were booked into the Fulton County Jail on multiple charges, including several counts of theft by receiving stolen property.

Forde and Maddox have no arrest records, but Wheat and Hall have lengthy criminal records dating back to 1995 and 1986, respectively, according to county records.

Neighbors later found out that none of the four men actually lived in the house and were merely squatters.

Police attempted to prevent further violence on the property by repeatedly driving to the property.

City councilor Carmalitha Gumbs, who represents the district, said the city plans to take action against owners of vacant homes to prevent further crime.
