Jewish student’s locker at Corona Del Mar High School in California defaced with poorly drawn swastikas and ‘KKK’ as police investigate alleged hate crime

At a California high school, a Jewish student’s locker was defaced with swastikas and the letters “KKK” as police launched a hate crime investigation.

The group Stop Anti-Semitism in posted photos of the damaged vault in Newport Beach at X on Sunday.

Orange letters can be seen scattered throughout the blue school lockers, clearly displaying swastika symbols and letters referencing the white supremacist group, the Ku Klux Klan.

‘Newport Beach – A Jewish student at Corona Del Mar High School had his football locker defaced with ‘swastikas’ and ‘KKK.’ No report has been made to the police. This is a blatant hate crime and those responsible must be punished to the fullest extent of the law @NewportBeachPD,” the post read in the caption.

“Jewish students deserve to feel safe – email Superintendent Wesley Smith: superintendent@nmusd.us and demand a criminal investigation,” the caption continued.

The anti-Semitic images come just a week after the Palestinian terror group Hamas invaded Israel, sparking a violent war.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the longest-running conflicts in history, with tensions simmering for decades and intermittently escalating into armed clashes that have left thousands of people dead on both sides.

Anti-hate crimes continue to occur across the US and then around the world, as a six-year-old Muslim boy and his mother were recently stabbed by their landlord in Illinois.

The boy was stabbed 26 times and died as a funeral was held for him on Monday, while the landlord appeared in court on murder charges and was denied bail.

People on both sides of the war have suffered enormous losses: more than 1,400 Israelis have died and an estimated 2,750 Palestinians have died.

Iran has now warned that it could be forced to take “preemptive action” against Israel in the coming hours as the Jewish nation prepares for a ground offensive on the Gaza Strip.

The United States has also told 2,000 troops to prepare for deployment to war-torn corners of the world and moved a second aircraft carrier to the eastern Mediterranean.

President Joe Biden will travel to Israel on Wednesday to show his support for the US ally, as concerns grow that the raging war between Israel and Hamas could develop into a wider regional conflict.

Biden wants to send the strongest message yet: the US stands with Israel. His Democratic administration has pledged military support and sent American aircraft carriers and aid to the region.

Comments poured in under the social media post of the vandalized locker.

“Always contact law enforcement and the @FBI immediately. Many school systems prefer to sweep this under the rug and ignore the anti-Semitism in our public schools,” said one commenter.

Another commenter said: ‘My son goes to CDM and they sent a generic email saying a police report had been filed. Nothing about adding security or even cameras! I’m just asking parents to talk to their children tonight. No action!’

Another said: ‘Hate crimes should never be tolerated! Committed by cowards who don’t show their faces!’
