Jada Pinkett Smith’s younger brother Caleeb Pinkett divorcing wife Trisha after three-year legal separation
Three days after Jada Pinkett Smith revealed that she has been secretly separated from her husband Will Smith since 2016, her sister-in-law Patricia “Trisha” Pinkett has officially filed for divorce from her 43-year-old half-brother Caleeb Pinkett.
The Emmy-nominated Cobra Kai producer originally started dating the jewelry designer in 2002, they married in September 2006, and she listed their divorce date as February 28, 2020, right before the COVID-19 pandemic — according to TMZ.
Caleeb was last photographed with Trisha in February 2022 during a “fun” family outing to Sherman Oaks Castle Park for miniature golf.
Citing “irreconcilable differences,” the Korean mother requested spousal support and joint legal and physical custody of their 11-year-old daughter Caila Koren Pinkett.
Trisha – who has shared many inspirational quotes Instagram – asked the court to put an end to the possibility of awarding spousal support to Pinkett.

The Pinketts are also parents to two adult children: 30-year-old daughter Jade Pinkett and 24-year-old son Jah Pinkett.
In September 2020, Jada revealed that both the Just A Lil Bling co-founder and her daughter Jade were quarantining with her in Calabasas during an episode of her canceled Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk.
The 52-year-old actress previously invited Caleeb to a 2018 episode of RTT to discuss the family’s long-held grudge over their drug-addicted absent father Robsol Pinkett, who passed away in 2021.
Pinkett is clearly proud of his relationship with Jada and her estranged 55-year-old husband, who boasts an eye-watering fortune of $350 million.
Last Friday, Pinkett Smith shared that she and Will have been living as singles for the past seven years while promoting her 416-page memoir Worthy, which hits shelves this Tuesday.
“I promised there would never be a reason for us to divorce,” the Daytime Emmy-winning producer told Hoda Kotb. NBC News.
‘We will do everything we can. And I just couldn’t break that promise.’
Jada continued, “We love our family. And we love each other. It’s more of a life partnership. Now, in ten years, Hoda, who knows? He’s getting old! Who will be there for him, Hoda? It’s gonna be Me.’
Pinkett Smith officially kicked off her 12-day signing tour Monday evening at the Perelman Performing Arts Center in Manhattan with moderator Arianna Huffington.
