Three’s Company was Susan’s breakthrough role in 1977, with the stunning California-born actress playing Chrissy, the secretary, a stereotypical dumb blonde who shared an apartment with John Ritter’s cookery student character Jack Tripper and Joyce Dewitts’ Janet Wood, the flower girl.
However, Suzanne would eventually be fired from the show in 1980 after she asked for a raise that was comparable to John’s.
