The divorce attorney representing Lindsay Shiver’s has resigned amid the former Georgia beauty queen’s ongoing custody battle with her ex-husband Robert, whom she is accused of trying to kill.
Shiver’s attorney, Bree O. Sullivan-Howell, requested permission to withdraw as counsel, according to documents obtained from Radar online.
Since the presiding judge granted the motion, it will be up to Shiver to find new representation.
No reason was given by the lawyer why they are walking away from the case.

Shiver recently made her latest court appearance on charges of conspiring to kill Robert with the help of her Bahamian boyfriend Terrence Adrien Bethel (28) and alleged hitman Faron Newbold Jr (29).
Prosecutors allege the former cheerleader from Thomasville, Georgia, sent a photo of Robert to Newbold along with an instruction to ‘kill’ him while the one-time college football star was visiting his family vacation home in the Abaco Islands in July.
She and her co-accused will argue that police are taking their statements at face value and that there was never any intent to harm Robert – the father of Shiver’s three sons, aged four, 10 and 11 – who filed for divorce in April . his wife of deceit.
Lawyers for the trio protested when prosecutors blew a deadline to release their evidence and instead asked to delay proceedings until December.
Insiders predict that their hopes for a speedy resolution are likely to be dashed, as cases typically take three years or more to go to trial in the overburdened Bahamian legal system.
Shiver is barred from leaving Nassau as a condition of her $100,000 bail and must register her address with court officials.

Shiver, who is in the midst of a divorce, was arrested on July 21 for allegedly plotting with Bethel and Newbold to take out husband Robert while at his family’s home in the sun-drenched Abaco Islands, part of the Bahamas , took a vacation.
She must wear a GPS ankle monitor, observe an 8pm curfew and report to police three times a week.
‘Lindsay is angry that the case has been delayed. She just doesn’t feel safe in the Bahamas anymore,” the friend added.
‘All she wants to do is clear her name as soon as possible so she can get back to her sons. The boys also need their mother and miss her just as much.’
Shiver’s alleged murder-for-hire scheme came about when Bahamian police began investigating a burglary at Grabbers, a waterfront bar near Baker’s Bay, a luxury A-list resort where Robert’s family have a holiday home.
The thief cut power cables and disabled the generator to ensure security cameras didn’t work before looting a safe after the bar closed for the night on July 15.

Mother-of-three Shiver only found out about Thursday night’s raid when she got up the next day to find someone had rummaged through her clothes, bags and underwear drawer.
Friends say she has been left shaken and upset by the break-in and will move to a place with 24-hour security.
