LA Rams coach Sean McVay braced to MISS Sunday’s game vs the Cardinals – with his stunning Ukrainian model wife Veronika Khomyn set to give birth to their first child ‘any day now’

Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay could be a high-profile absentee from the sidelines this Sunday as his beautiful wife Veronika Khomyn prepares to give birth to their first child.

The Super Bowl-winning coach is expecting his first child with his Ukrainian model partner, who could go into labor ‘any day now’, with McVay ready to drop everything and be by her side when the moment arrives.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, McVay opened up about the pregnancy and his current situation, noting: ‘Feeling really lucky that it’s been a smooth pregnancy, my wife has been amazing and so, it hasn’t quite hit me yet.

“He’s active right now, looks like he’s ready to come at any moment. What a blessing that will be.’

The Rams play at home tomorrow at 4:25 pm against the Arizona Cardinals, which is good news for McVay and means he won’t have far to travel should the phone ring while he’s at SoFi Stadium.

The pair met in Washington DC but now live together in LA and were married in June 2022

McVay will certainly hope he can get through the game, though, with his 2-3 Rams facing a huge NFC West matchup against the 1-4 Cardinals as they look to make up for the Seahawks above them.

The couple first announced that they would be welcoming a baby boy in June, as Khomyn shared series of photos of her and her husband online.

“Guess who’s going to be a dad this football season!” wrote the mom-to-be, who is also a licensed Realtor in the City of Angels. ‘Baby boy McVay is coming this fall and we are so excited to meet him and love him.

“I can’t believe he’s been growing in my belly for 5 months.”

One of the photos showed the couple’s dog wearing a bandana that read: ‘I thought I was the baby!’

Khomyn, who has both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree, also shared a selfie of her hand on her stomach on Instagram, along with the caption: ’20 weeks.’

McVay, 37, and his wife reportedly met in Washington DC while the NFL coach was working for the Washington Commanders, first as a tight ends coach before being promoted to the team’s offensive coordinator from 2011-16.

Khomyn was a student at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia studying international business when she met her future husband according to People.

She first uploaded a photo of herself with her beau in 2016, suggesting they dated before she got engaged three years later.

The couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Beverly Hills in June 2022, nearly four months after McVay engineered a close victory over the Cincinnati Bengals (23-20) to take home the franchise’s second-ever Super Bowl (LVI) title to bring

What’s more, the Rams won that year at SoFi Stadium – the team’s home – making the victory even sweeter than if they had been declared champions elsewhere.

And while both lovers remain discreet off the field, Khomyn did reveal a bit of what it’s like to be the wife of an NFL coach during an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram once.

The Ukrainian model was asked: ‘What’s the hardest thing about being married to someone who has to be so committed to their job?’

‘Time together. For sure,’ answered Khomyn and added: ‘Time for friends and family. When so much responsibility comes with a job, it is difficult to be present all the time in all areas of life. It is impossible.
