NYCC gives us a look at a few clones in Orphan Black: Echoes
Just when you thought it was safe that you weren’t secretly a clone, the world returns to the Black Orphan.
At New York Comic Con, AMC released a new look Black Pupil: Echoesthe upcoming spinoff of the hit sci-fi show Pupil Black. The result is sort of what you’d expect, as someone slowly learns that their entire life is wrapped up in a clone conspiracy.
While the original stars Tatiana Maslany as Sarah (as well as her sister clones, Beth, Alison, Elizabeth, Helena, Cosima and Rachel); Echoes star Krysten Ritter of Jessica Jones fame as Lucy (and, likely, as several more clones). Like the original monsters; Echoes will follow a group of women as they interweave each other’s lives and unravel the mysteries of their own identities. But this time, in the near future, will be set in about the year 2052.
As we see in the trailer, Lucy wakes up and doesn’t know who she is, with some doctor sitting there (and he doesn’t do a great job of it). Before too long, Lucia thrusts into the terrible parochial labia, complete with someone into the siphon
That’s a major time jump from the results Pupil Black Not only did the supply change. John Fawcett, the show’s original co-creator and executive producer Echoes, said the Radio Times which is going to be a spinoff, a completely different show.
“If you want to go to hope that I’m going to see.” Pupil Blackyou are probably mistaken,” he said. “It has its own meaning, it’s got its own identity. What Orphan Black does is it’s tough to burn something for him. I think you are excited to watch the fans.
Near Ritter Echoes stars Amanda Fix, Avan Jogia, Keeley Hawes, James Hiroyuki Liao, and Zariella Langford. Black Pupil: Echoes It will have 10 episodes in its first season. It’s set to premiere on AMC Plus in 2024.
