Travis Kelce looks set to take the field for the Kansas City Chiefs tonight, with Taylor Swift expected to fly in from Hollywood to see him play – despite major concerns this week about his ankle injury.

Kelce, who turned 34 last week, feared he had broken a leg while rolling for the Chiefs in Minnesota last Sunday, before bravely playing on and leading his team to victory.

And now, in exclusive DailyMail.Com photos, Kelce was seen leaving his home with one of his Chiefs jerseys in hand while his mother Donna was spotted at a nearby hotel before watching her son play against the Denver Broncos.

There was still no sign of the pop princess after she had a show in Los Angeles last night for her Eras Tour movie premiere.

Swift, 33, has been to Arrowhead Stadium before and was seen wearing a red and white Chiefs jacket with Donna, 70. The two reunited the following week in New York, where Swift watched Kelce play against the Jets.

But Donna made an awkward comment about Taylor when she appeared on the TODAY show last Friday.

When hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb asked her about what it was like watching a game with one of the most famous people on the planet, Donna simply replied, ‘It was OK.’

She continued: ‘I don’t like to talk about it. It’s just one of those things where everyone saw me. I was in the boxes with her. It’s another thing that strengthened my life.’

Last Friday, before the game against the Vikings where Kelce got hurt, he said his romance with Swift made him feel happier than when he won the Super Bowl earlier this year.

“As all the attention comes, it feels like, you know — I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and now even more on top of the world,” he said.

“You have a lot of people who care about Taylor, and for good reason. Gotta keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.

“We learn with the paparazzi taking pictures everywhere, but that comes with it.”

Kelce has been listed as questionable by the Chiefs for tonight’s game, but is expected to participate.

Speaking about his injury scare this week on his New Heights podcast – which he co-hosts with older brother Jason of the Philadelphia Eagles – he said: ‘I rolled my ankle – it was like in basketball, you come off a rebound off. and you just roll your ankle.

“At first, I felt some things in my ankle that… didn’t feel good,” he said. ‘When I first rolled it, I came straight off the pitch and I really couldn’t put much weight on it.

‘So I knew I had to at least see if it was broken, went in, got X-rays, and from there knew there was nothing structurally wrong with it. So I could just tape that thing and get back out there.’

Kelce eventually returned to the game and finished the day with ten catches for 67 yards and a touchdown.

A repeat performance tonight, and Swift will have plenty to celebrate. The Chiefs enter the game with a 4-1 record and lead the AFC West.
