On Monday, Stephen delivered the final blow in blockbuster scenes where he strangled himself and hit Tim over the head with a metal pole.

Some wrote: ‘If #Corrie producers killed off Tim I’m going to be really pissed.’

Determined to uncover the truth, Tim decides to investigate and quickly discovers one of Steven’s victims in a box in the canal.

After finding the skeleton hand, Tim runs to get it back to his car in shock at what he finds and quickly calls the police.

But while his car remains unlocked, a clever Stephen appears in the back seat of Tim’s taxi and says: “I want to see you here.”

Tim calmly drives Stephen in his car back to the Cobbles, trying to take a side track to the police station.

But Stephen quickly realized where Tim was going and angrily removed his tie and continued to strangle Tim until he luckily escaped from the car.

Despite escaping, Stephen quickly caught up to Tim and was hit in the head by the mental pool, before falling to the floor and throwing himself into the boot of the car.

As the hour-long episode continued, Steven doused the car in gasoline while Tim stayed to the side and went to set fire to the taxi to get rid of the evidence.

But he stops short when he hears a helicopter fly overhead and Steven runs after it back to Weatherfield.

The dramatic week will conclude its blockbuster, fittingly, on Friday, October 13, when Stephen’s fate will finally be revealed.
