Cher, 77, opened up about her love on Live – and especially her boyfriend Alexander AE Edwards, 37.

The music legend said she was “not surprised” by the public interest in their relationship, she said People.

“It’s never too late,” added the icon, when it comes to finding love.

“Whatever happens, I like to be with him.” He makes me laugh and we have fun. What I’ve learned is that it’s never too late.’

The star revealed she fell for him in a text message after a mutual friend gave him her number.

The living legend herself was surprised to find love with someone younger than her, something she thought would never happen.

“I used to say to all my friends, ‘We’re too old to date really younger men, and I’ll never fall in love over text.’ So I did what I said I wouldn’t do!’

Cher said they first met at Paris Fashion Week last year “for about 15 minutes.”

After they met, she said a mutual friend gave him her phone number.

“It was really shocking, because people just don’t give out my number,” the artist explained.

However, Cher revealed that she decided to break her rule of not dating younger men ‘because he’s so special.’
