Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon channels her famous mom in the new music video for her song Spelling.
The 26-year-old artist shared the clip on her Instagram and YouTube on Tuesday, revealing it was inspired by her mum’s ‘timeless’ video for Frozen, released in 1998.
Lourdes, who also appeared naked in the video at one point, wrote the sweet caption as she praised the Material Girl, 65.
‘This piece is very special. It’s an homage to my mother’s timeless artwork, Frozen,” she wrote.
“That piece has appeared countless times in my life, connecting the two of us.” I would be nothing without the woman who brought me into the world. I respect her and I hope this will be translated.’

The footage took a lot of inspiration from the original – from the dark blue hues to Lourdes playing a similarly ethereal witch-like character with long raven hair.
The video begins in a dark forest, as it zooms in on Lourdes, who is floating in the air, dressed in an eerie black dress.
