Rihanna’s choreographer appears to hit back at Drake after rapper’s ‘diss track’ by posting throwback snap of the singer SNUBBING his attempted kiss at awards show
Rihanna’s choreographer has come to her defense after Drake appeared to hit the singer multiple times in a scathing verse of his recently released song Fear Of Heights.
The Umbrella hitmaker, 35, and the rapper, 36, were dogged by romance rumors from 2009 to 2018, and since their latest split, there’s been speculation that Drake hasn’t been able to get over it.
On his new song, however, Drake insisted he kept going, quipping: “Why does that sound like I’m still on you? It could never be.’
He added, “Gyal can’t ruin me,” which turns out to be a sly reference to Rihanna’s accent from her native Barbados.
As the song went on, he said that “sex was average with you” and even seemed to take aim at her current relationship with A$AP Rocky.

Attack: Drake insisted he’s moved on and after a barrage of bile towards his ex, he quipped: ‘And I’ve had a lot worse bitches than you TBH’ (pictured in 2016)
“Better him than me, better not me,” Drake raps. “Yes, that man, he is still with you. He can’t leave you. Everyone go on vacation, I bet it’s the Antilles.’
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have actually vacationed in the Lesser Antilles more than once, taking several couples’ trips to Barbados.
Since then, the couple have welcomed two children together, which may explain Drake’s statement that A$AP Rocky ‘can’t leave her.’
Elsewhere on Fear Of Heights, Drake said, “I’m against it, I’m against it,” possibly in reference to Rihanna’s latest album, Anti, which came out in 2016.

While Rihanna did not respond to the ‘diss track’, dancer Parris Goebel, who has often collaborated with the star and choreographed her Super Bowl halftime performance, spoke for her.
Parris shared a clip of Drake leaning in to kiss Rihanna at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on her Instagram stories.
The moment went viral seven years ago, after Drake professed his love for Rihanna while presenting her with the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Addressing the crowd, he said: “She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22. She is one of my best friends in the world. I’ve looked up to her all my adult life, even though she’s younger than me.’
Rihanna then went to peck him on the cheek while accepting the award, while Drake appeared to lean in for a real kiss, but she pulled back and said something unintelligible.
In 2018, Rihanna opened up to Vogue about their relationship after she rejected his kiss at the VMAs.
She said: “Waiting for that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like being violent.
She then added, “Now we don’t have friendship, but we’re not enemies either.” It is what it is.’
Drake and Rihanna were first spotted locking lips in 2009, shortly after her split from Chris Brown, who brutally beat her to the point that she had to be hospitalized.
Rihanna eventually briefly reunited with Chris and publicly claimed that she and Drake were just friends.
Wounded Drake reflected on The New York Times 2010: “I was a pawn.” You know what she did to me?

“She did exactly what I’ve done to many women in my life, which is show them quality time and then disappear.” I was like, “Wow, this is terrible”.’
Next year, he said Elle: ‘It hurt then, but she didn’t want to. I will never put that on her. I was hurt because I was slowly starting to understand what it was.’
Over the next few years, he took a flowery tone in his public statements about Rihanna, describing her as his ‘ultimate fantasy’ Rolling Stone in 2014.
In 2016, the couple acquired matching shark tattoos, reinforcing public perception that their relationship was more than platonic, until Rihanna’s Vogue comment two years later.
