EXCLUSIVE: Strictly professionals put on their best pink and double denim as they transform into Barbies and Kens for Movie Week dance number

Professional dancers from The Strictly Come Dancing transformed into Barbies and Kens for film week.

In recently released pictures from Sunday’s results show, the pros can be seen in eye-catching pink outfits as they celebrated the Barbie movie released this year.

Diane Buswell appeared to play Barbie Margot Robbie for the dance number as she wore a platinum blonde wig with a pink and white plaid dress.

All the other dancers were dressed in different variations of the Mattel doll, including Katya Jones who looked like Roller Barbie, while Lauren Oakley was dressed like Cowgirl Barbie.

Meanwhile, the male dancers transformed into Ken for the main dance number, with Gorka Marquez playing Ryan Gosling’s Ken.

The dancer wore a platinum blonde wig, along with a denim sleeveless shirt and jeans.

In a clip posted on Strictly’s official Instagram, Gorka donned the same look as Ken in his song I’m Just Ken from the film, which grossed over $1 billion worldwide.

Mimicking the track, Gorka showed off his shirtless physique under a white faux fur coat as he strolled down the halls.

Fans will be able to enjoy the full performance during Sunday’s results show, when another couple will also be eliminated.

As for this week’s dances, Eddie Cuddy and Karen Hauer danced the couple’s first selection from the series to Men in Black from the movie of the same name.

Speaking to MailOnline ahead of this week’s show, Eddie said he would like Will Smith to play him in the film, so Men in Black is a fitting subject for the star.

Leighton Williams performed the Viennese waltz to There Are Worse Things I Could Do from Grease with Nikita Kuzmin, after the pair topped the charts last week with an energetic Quickstep.

Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington transformed into the Von Trapps to quickstep to Do-Re-Mi from The Sound Of Music.

Annabelle Croft and Johannes Radebe performed a waltz to Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and Bobby Brazer and Diane Buswell performed a samba to Young Hearts Free from Romeo and Juliet.

Eli Leach and Vito Coppola danced the Viennese Waltz to Waiting On A Miracle from Encanto, and Jodie Cundy and Jovita Przystal performed an American Smooth to the heartbreaking Married Life from Up.

When asked who would play her in the film, Ellie admitted that she didn’t think any actress but her would be able to do it.

She said: ‘I think I would have to play myself… I don’t know if anyone could really capture my quirky personality.’

Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Lauren Oakley performed the Charleston to Money Money from Cabaret, and Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima transformed into cats to perform the Paso Doble to The Puss Suite from Puss in Boots.

Zara’s number may have been a disappointment as she was hoping to film The Little Mermaid.

She said: “I’m not much of a movie person, probably Ariel from The Little Mermaid. I know Fleur did it last year…that would be my dream.

“When I was little I used to pretend I was Ariel, my mum would make me a mermaid tail out of old curtains and I would wave it around!” So it will probably be Ariel from The Little Mermaid because it’s very nostalgic for me.’

This year’s performances were rounded off by Nigel Harman and Katya Jones who danced a jive to the theme of Batman from Batman.
