A man accused of repeatedly exposing himself to school children has been charged with dozens of offences.
NSW Police say officers were patrolling the Merewether and Cooks Hill area of Newcastle on Friday after receiving numerous reports of the alleged act.
Officers pursued a vehicle on Robey Road and arrested the driver, a 65-year-old man.

He was taken to Newcastle police station and charged with 45 offences, including 21 counts of committing an intentional sexual act on a child aged 10 to 16.
He was also charged with stalking and sexually assaulting a child.
A number of items were seized for further examination from both the vehicle and a house in the Newcastle area.
The man has also been charged with alleged stalking offenses and charges of sexually touching a child
The man was refused bail to appear at Newcastle Local Court on Saturday.
