While talking to Refinery29 In 2020, the Iron Man actress revealed: “In the past, I’ve never said I wouldn’t have plastic or cosmetic surgery, because I think it’s important to be honest about the fact that we all change as we age.” ‘

Although she doesn’t currently use Botox, Gwyneth has admitted to another injection called Xeomin – which is also FDA-approved and labeled a “naked injection”.

“I never want to look younger or not look like myself,” the businesswoman said at the time.

She then recalled: “When I turned 40, I had a midlife crisis and got anti-wrinkle injections all over my face, and it was horrible.”

“I looked terrible – one eye was actually higher than the other – and it was definitely a big mistake, although thankfully temporary.”

On the topic of cosmetic surgery, she said Harper’s Bazaar‘I think it’s nice when women share, because there’s a lot of shame around surgery, injections or fillers, and it would be nice if people felt confident in the choices they make.’

“But if they want to have a beauty secret, that’s fine too.” I’m an open book — I’ve shared what works for me, because that’s how I’ve always learned.’

Gwyneth also discussed her skincare routine and the treatments she loves during the chat Vogue earlier this year in July.

The star revealed at the time: “I’m a bit freaked out about using lasers on my face and I’ve seen some strange results with certain people. It feels risky.’

“Occasionally I’ll do a red light facial for inflammation or something. We also sell the Lima Laser at Goop – it’s really nice and gentle, so I’m going to do that.’

Paltrow further opened up about ‘her approach’ to aging, stating, ‘I think it’s a cultural problem (that women seem to be judged more on aging than men).’

She continued: “It’s not ours! As women, we want to be healthy, we want to age. This idea that we should be frozen in time is so strange.’

Actress Emma later added: “I think we want to set an example of how you can age.” Every woman should do as she pleases.’

“Some women want to do all things aesthetic, and some want to be the fabulous French grandmother who never does anything.” Everyone should be empowered to do as they wish,” Gwyneth said.

The star’s wellness and lifestyle brand Goop – which launched back in 2008 – also sells products that target skin care.

Some items include the $150 Youth Boost Peptide Serum and the $125 Life + Depuff Eye Masks.
