Florida man sparks furious debate after insisting that ‘pretty’ women shouldn’t WORK – and should ‘tan by the pool and do yoga’ instead
A man has caused a stir on social media after declaring that ‘beautiful’ women shouldn’t work – and should instead wear a ‘nice summer dress’ and ‘tan by the pool’
Content creator Christian Bonnier, from Tampa, Florida, shared his bizarre thoughts in a now-viral video that has been viewed more than 2.2 million times.
“Women are not supposed to work forty hours a week at a desk,” Christian emphasized in the newspaper 42 second clip.
He then described the scene he witnessed that provoked these thoughts; called it “the saddest thing ever.”
“I saw it again today, a very beautiful girl walking down the street with her company T-shirt, jeans, backpack and her thermos looking depressed as she walked into work,” he recalled of the gloomy scene.

Christian insisted: ‘Women are not supposed to be working these 40-hour-a-week corporate desk jobs’, but should be doing yoga and tanning instead.
“Saddest thing ever,” he continued. “This girl shouldn’t have to go to some stupid desk job sitting in cubicles and reporting to some stupid boss all day.”
According to Christian, the women he saw – and women like her – should have a less stressful day instead of a nine-to-five office job.
“She should go to a farmer’s market in a sundress, sunbathe by the pool, do yoga, Pilates, that kind of thing,” he listed.
“I don’t even care if I get canceled,” Christian continued.
He then said that it has only been a small percentage of history that women have worked nine to five jobs, pointing out that their jobs have been homebound until modern times.
“(Just like forty years ago, maybe fifty years) women stayed at home, raised the family, took care of the house, cooked and cleaned,” the “feminist” said.
“Now women go to a stupid nine-to-five office job to do a desk job and get verbally harassed by their manager and then go to happy hour and get attacked by their coworker Caleb,” he raged.
“Tell me I’m wrong,” he captioned the controversial post.
Christian said he doesn’t care if his controversial video gets him canceled. Women should wear summer dresses when they go to a farmer’s market, sunbathe by the pool, do yoga and pilates, or work.
Christian called seeing a beautiful girl walking to her 9-5 job as, “the saddest thing ever, saying, ‘This girl shouldn’t have to go to some stupid desk job, sitting in cubicles and feeling the have to report to some asshole boss all day.
His thoughts divided TikTok users, some of whom loved his idea and others who thought it was ridiculous
His thoughts attracted more than 7,700 responses, mostly from women who agreed that they would like to live a life full of sundresses and yoga, and from others who pointed out that they would like to work to be independent.
‘My soul is being drained at work. I would have so much more to offer the world if I could be my feminine self,” one woman wrote.
“Life is too expensive not to have two incomes now,” another commented.
“Like I love my 9-5 job and being financially independent,” one woman mused.
‘What if I’m not “really beautiful”?’ joked another. “Can I still wear the summer dress to the farmer’s market?”
Christian often makes videos about these thoughts about women in the workplace. Earlier in September, he made another video saying that “pretty girls” shouldn’t have to work “soul-sucking nine-to-five” jobs.
“You can literally see their natural look being obscured by this job,” he claimed.
“(Women) should go to sunrise yoga or take (a) pilates class,” he said in the video.
