A mother who plunged 50 meters to her death from a scenic clifftop spot slipped and fell in a tragic accident witnessed by her father and son.
The woman fell from McKenzie’s Lookout near Nowra, on the New South Wales south coast, on Monday.
She was walking with her son, father and friends at the time.

Police now suspect she slipped or tripped while standing at the edge of the cliff.
“This is unfortunately a case where she went to the edge and tripped and fell, slipped and fell or lost her balance and went over the edge,” Inspector Paul Hoyer told 7News.
‘At one point she was there with the witnesses, just walking, and suddenly she went over the edge.
‘Unfortunately the entire incident was witnessed by her father, her son and friends of hers.’
