Kris Jenner makes Kim Kardashian CRINGE after secretly agreeing to star in Megan Trainor’s music video: ‘So embarrassing’
Kris Jenner stepped a little out of her comfort zone in this week’s episode of The Kardashians, starring in a music video for Meghan Trainor.
The 67-year-old Kardashian-Jenner patriarch — who recently returned from Paris Fashion Week — said during the season 4 premiere that she wanted to “get off the hamster wheel a little bit and enjoy life,” adding that most of the time she’s “yeah ‘ said to too many things and being ‘spread thin’.
While she admitted she would normally say no to a music video — despite appearing in Ariana Grande’s “thank u next” in 2018 — she said yes to appearing in Trainor’s video for Mother.
She admitted during the shoot that she hadn’t even told her kids about it, adding that she was afraid her kids wouldn’t like it.
Even Kim Kardashian admitted she thought it would be “so embarrassing,” although ultimately she was proud of her mother.

Kris then tells Corey over dinner, “Meghan Trainor wrote a new song and the name of the song is I Am Your Mother, and she asked Shelly to ask me if I wanted to be in her music video.”
Corey says, “Oh nice. Don’t wear see-through clothes, that’s my only thing. I don’t know what’s going on in these videos these days.”
“I think normally I would pass, but something tells me this would be a lot of fun,” Kris says, while Corey adds, “If it makes you happy, do it.”
‘This is really the year where I only say yes to the things I really want to do. I think I’m going to tell Shelly that it’s a hard yes from me… and from Corey,” Kris says, as Corey jokes that he’ll give her a “hard yes” later.
Back in Los Angeles, Kris is on the set of Meghan Trainor’s music video, with Kris dressed in an elaborate white dress with a diamond necklace and earrings.
“I said yes to this because it’s fun and glamorous and it’s Hollywood. “I hope I can live up to Meghan’s expectations of what we’re doing here today because I don’t want to let her down, but this is really a lot of work,” Kris confesses.
Kris films a video, apparently for her social media, with Meghan Trainor herself, before they start production on the video.
Taking over from director and choreographer Charm La’Donna, Kris confesses, “It’s such an amazing experience. It’s the music business. It is exciting. It’s glamorous. It is beautiful. But it is difficult. It’s not as easy as it seems.’

Kris does another take and nails it, while the director jumps up and down with joy.
“I’m afraid that if I tell my kids, they’ll ask me, ‘Why do you want to be in a music video, Mom? Why would you do that?”
They show footage of the finished video, with Kris confessing, “As much as I would love to share this amazing experience with them, I think when it’s all over I’ll just send them the tape.”
After Cici admits to telling Kim about the music video shoot, Kris video calls Kris from the set, “as Kim says, ‘Oh my god.’
Kim admits in a confession, “So at first I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is going to be so embarrassing.’ And I was just as afraid that she wouldn’t know what she was doing, but she put a stop to it. You know, in life you just gotta have fun and try new things, and why not.”
They went back to the set where Kris gets a hug from Meghan and the director and thanks everyone.
After wrapping, a producer asks Kris how it was, and Kris says, “It was so much fun.” It was really great to be part of such a professional, fantastic production. To be making music videos at my age is a bit unusual, but I’m really glad I did it because I had the time of my life.”
