Jermaine Jenas has defeated Paris Saint-Germain after they suffered a 4-1 defeat to Newcastle at St James’ Park on Wednesday evening.
The Geordies got off to a dream start, with Miguel Almiron scoring in the opening twenty minutes of the match to send the home fans into delirium.
Dan Burn doubled the lead before half-time, but amid Newcastle’s brilliance, PSG looked poor defensively, with Jenas firing their defense at TNT Sports.
‘Now that the players are world-class and younger in midfield and looking a bit fresher, I thought we would see a different look in this PSG side tonight.’
‘But it’s still a year, but it looks like the same old PSG.’
He added: “A penny for the thoughts of Luis Enrique. Defensively, that was absolutely shocking.
‘The midfielders let players run away. Center backs don’t make any decision to come forward and defend.’
