A 55-year-old Melbourne man has died after being stabbed on a busy street.
The Campbellfield man was allegedly stabbed while sitting in his black Mercedes Benz on Scammel Street, in the city’s north, on Monday afternoon.
The car reportedly rolled 100 meters down the road and crashed into another parked vehicle.
A worker who saw the alleged attack called police around 1:30 p.m. 7News reports.
The 55-year-old man was rushed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with life-threatening injuries to his upper body, but later died.
A 57-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
It is believed the pair knew each other and had a verbal disagreement before the alleged stabbing.
